Like the intricate woven threads of an ancient tapestry, the artistic fabric of Orvieto is rich in color, history, culture and architecture. For this incredible creative journey, two artists collaborate to bring you an experience of decadent art making. Draw inspiration from the ancient doors, windows and archways. Capture the faces and characters of long ago. Align yourself with artisans of ancient times and sculpt beautiful forms. Your week of creating will include portrait drawing and painting, mixed media collage, clay sculpture, encaustic wax and more!

Heidi has been teaching screenwriting and story structure for ten years, and she will help you tell the tale of your hero’s journey. Work through journaling, story-telling exercises, and foundational writing work to create the basis of your story. Every resonant story, no matter how diverse in tone, style, or content, shares basic tenets of structure and flow. The key is in shaping those tenets in original and creative ways.
