Meet your hosts
Michelle Logue (left) runs Adventures in Italy, which specializes on art and cultural retreats in Orvieto, Umbria. She’s been bringing groups to Umbria since 2017, but Adventures in Italy has been around since 2003. Because we call Orvieto home for the week, we’re able to have rich experiences and truly become part of the community of Orvieto.
Michelle has travelled extensively, largely due to her four years spent at sea working as a videographer for Royal Caribbean International. Italy has always held a special place in her heart since her very first visit, and she can’t wait to share it with you!
Regina Winkle-Bryan (right) is the founder of Bold Spirit Travel, a company connecting women through adventure. She leads many Bold Spirit Travel trips along with her team.
Regina has visited over 35 countries. Sometimes she stays longer in a place than expected, like those two-plus years in Central America. Or those ten years in Barcelona, Spain. Currently, she calls Seattle home.
She approaches each new expedition with a sense of humor and deep curiosity. Any adventure is a good adventure. Regina aims to create a space for travelers to unite over shared wanderlust on women-only trips around the globe…and have some fun, too.

PAYMENT:
Deposit: 600 euros upon registering
2 subsequent payments
The trip price is based on a shared room. Some private room upgrades are available for each trip for an additional fee.
Private Rooms: A note about the private upgrade. We know that some women need their own space. We pay the same amount for the room whether there are 2 people in it or just 1. When you get the private upgrade, you are paying for the other 1/2 of that room. This is why it costs more. We are happy to pair guests with a roommate which allows you to save money and make a friend. We have limited private rooms so please select that option when you register. Thanks for understanding.
Refund amounts are determined as follows:
120+ days before trip: Full refund minus non-refundable deposit
120–90 days before trip: 50% of balance minus non-refundable deposit
90 days or fewer before trip: No refund
Our itinerary is subject to change based on availability and unforeseen conditions.
You must abide by Italian rules and COVID protocols. Adventures in Italy and Bold Spirit Travel are not responsible if you cannot enter Italy due to lack of vaccination or other entry requirements.
Your deposit is used to secure your hotel room and guides. This is why it is not refundable.
