Your time with michelle includes:

Michelle will demonstrate alternative book binding, paint and sketch techniques, collage, mark making, hand stitching, and much more. She will guide you in slow steps, so that you gain confidence on how to incorporate various techniques to capture the essence of Italy in your art journal. In the studio you will enjoy artful moments where you can weave in your thoughts and experiences using paper, paint, sketch, fabric, stitching, embroidery and things that you feel most comfortable with. Your art journal will become a beautiful tapestry of your time in Italy. 

As your Italian adventure draws to an end, you’ll depart feeling empowered by the journey you’ve experienced. Take your personal visual diary of your time in Italy back home with you. An homage to your adventure in Orvieto. Creative pages, where memories and impressions of your journey can be cherished for years to come.

Please be aware – Art Journaling is not about perfection. It’s simply free flowing creative fun, where your senses become visible.

And whether you are an experienced artist, or an absolute beginner, this workshop is for all levels. 

Tour Details

Mornings will be spent in creative exploration, either in the studio or out around Orvieto. In the afternoon you will experience the culture of Italy. It might be a tour into the Etruscan caves, a cooking class, or a vineyard visit. There will also be plenty of free time to explore Orvieto on your own. You will receive a more detailed itinerary for the week in your final information packet sent before you travel.

A traditional continental breakfast is served each morning in the B&B. Because Italian cuisine is such fun, some meals are not prearranged allowing you the freedom to choose where and what to eat. Recommendations are offered and no one eats alone!

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Single occupancy available for an additional cost. Travel costs are not included.

The balance including single room supplement of $150 USD and optional activities, if any, is due as indicated on the registration form, which is approximately 90 days prior to trip commencement. Payment installments can be arranged directly with Adventures in Italy Inc. Methods of payment accepted are check, Visa and Mastercard.
