Meet mindy

Mindy Veissid is an innovative, award-winning international fine art photographer and creator of Art of Intuitive Photography. Her approach to photography focuses on using intuition, vulnerability and trust to show a deeper sense of who she is and what she sees. Mindy developed her style based on her frustrations of learning photography in a traditional school setting where everyone was taught to do the same thing with limited individual or creative exploration. Mindy didn’t want to be a follower (or as she puts it, a robot following the demands of others.) She wasn’t interested in the technical perfection of an image – she wanted to to explore and share what her heart guided her to. Mindy’s intention is that her photos tell a story or a poem, guiding the viewer deeper into her image and to show that it’s okay to be who you are, to trust yourself and your body (intuition.) Mindy’s photos have been exhibited in the US and Europe and have been published in various magazines and websites.

Mindy published her photo book NYC 2020 A Year Like No Other in 2021, Art of Intuititive Photography in 2016 and is the co-author of Photographers Squared: The Great American Shoot-out published in 2015.

Tour Details

Mornings are spent in creative exploration, either in the studio or out around Orvieto. In the afternoon, experience the culture of Italy. It might be a tour into the Etruscan caves, a cooking class, or a vineyard visit. There will also be plenty of free time to explore Orvieto on your own. You will receive a more detailed itinerary for the week in your final information packet sent before you travel.

A traditional continental breakfast is served each morning in the B&B. Because Italian cuisine is such fun, some meals are not prearranged allowing you the freedom to choose where and what to eat. Recommendations are offered and no one eats alone!
